Key Benefits

Weight Management Aid*

Glucomannan helps with weight loss when combined with an energy-restricted diet [1,2]. It absorbs water in the stomach, forming a viscous, gel-like mass that delays gastric emptying, helps you feel full and reduces energy intake [2].

Supports Cholesterol Balance**

Glucomannan also helps maintain normal blood cholesterol levels [3], by reducing the re-absorption of bile acids, which promotes the breakdown of cholesterol for bile production, and reduces circulating (LDL) cholesterol concentrations.

Gut-Friendly Fibers

GOS and Fibersol® have been studied for their role in supporting gut health during weight management interventions, particularly in relation to beneficial shifts in gut microbiota and Bifidobacteria levels [4-8].

*) The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 3 g of glucomannan in 3 doses of 1 g each, taken with 1-2 glasses of water before meals.

**) The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 4 g of glucomannan.

Real change starts with real fiber. One serving of weight loss fiber supplement SHAPE before meals makes all the difference.

Key Features

Balanced Fiber Blend with Targeted Benefits

Glucomannan forms a viscous gel in the stomach, expanding to promote fullness and reduce appetite [1,2]. Fibersol® ferments slowly [9], reaching the distal colon [10,11], while galacto-oligosaccharides (GOS) are rapidly fermented [12], nourishing beneficial gut bacteria, particularly in the proximal colon. Together, these fibers deliver a powerful combination of appetite and gut microbiome support during your weight management journey.

GALACTO-OLIGOSACCHARIDES (GOS)

Rapidly fermented, low molecular mass prebiotic fiber which promotes prebiotic activity in the proximal colon. GOS nourishes beneficial gut bacteria, particularly Bifidobacteria and Lactobacilli [12].

GLUCOMANNAN

A slightly branched and acetylated polysaccharide fiber derived from konjac (Amorphophallus konjac) root, which has a long history of use in Eastern Asia as a traditional food [13]. It absorbs up to 100 times its own weight in water by gradual hydration. Therefore it increases the viscosity of the digestive contents, delays gastric emptying, and helps reduce energy intake [14].

Fibersol®

A gut-friendly, slow fermenting fiber, that supports digestive health [9]. Fibersol® is a thermally and enzymatically treated corn starch, classified as resistant starch type 4 [15], which supplies a sustained prebiotic boost and its intake leads to SCFAs production [10].

Fibersol® is a soluble dietary fiber produced by ADM/Matsutani Singapore Pte., Ltd.

Fiber: The Missing Piece in Weight Loss

Weight loss efforts often focus on calories—but overlook fiber. Yet fiber plays a critical role, not just for fullness, but also for gut health. And the reality? Most people are already falling short: the Netherlands 21 g/day [16], UK 19 g/day [17], US 17 g/day [18], Asia 8–10 g/day [19]. Women especially tend to consume even less [17,20].

What’s more, dieting often lowers fiber intake further, as many high-fiber foods like whole grains or legumes may be reduced.

Fibersentials SHAPE helps close that gap, conveniently and effectively

With glucomannan for satiety and gut-friendly fibers (Fibersol®, GOS), weight loss fiber supplement SHAPE makes it easier to stay full, energized, and nourished. Supporting both weight loss and gut health at the same time.

As always, supplements like SHAPE work best when combined with a balanced diet rich in vegetables, fruits, legumes, and whole grains. We’ll be sharing more practical tips on fiber-maxxing your meals in our blog.

Better fiber, better balance, better results.

How is Fibersentials SHAPE different?
It combines clinically supported doses of glucomannan with Fibersol® and GOS for both satiety and gut microbiome support, all in one clean formula.
Glucomannan expands in the stomach, helping you feel full. GOS and Fibersol® support gut health and fiber intake during weight loss.

Fibersentials SHAPE isn’t just about weight loss—it’s about helping you stay productive, focused, and in control throughout the day.

  • Midday Momentum: SHAPE helps tackle that familiar post-lunch slump by promoting satiety without the heaviness of a large meal, keeping your energy balanced and your mind clear.
  • Convenient & Versatile: Mix SHAPE into your favorite snack or light meal to feel satisfied, steady, and distraction-free.
  • Effortless Control: By managing hunger between meals, SHAPE empowers you to focus fully on your goals, not your growling stomach.

It’s a smart tool for anyone who wants better control over their eating habits and sharper focus during demanding hours, whether or not weight loss is the goal.

The EFSA-approved beneficial effect for weight loss requires 3 g of glucomannan daily: 1 g before each main meal, with water. SHAPE makes it easy to meet that dose.

Liquid fiber forms a gel-like mass in the stomach, delaying gastric emptying and enhancing fullness. Taking SHAPE before meals makes that effect most effective.

We always use a level scoop for accuracy. Heaped scoops vary too much to be reliable.

It’s neutral and can be mixed into water, juice, or smoothies.

Mild discomfort can happen when increasing fiber intake or introducing new fibers. Start with a smaller amount (e.g. 1 scoop daily), let your gut adjust for 1–2 weeks, and then increase gradually.

We recommend at least 1.5 to 2 liters of water daily to help the fibers work properly and reduce the risk of intestinal discomfort.

SHAPE contains only pure, water-loving fibers—no anti-clumping agents. To prevent lumps, sprinkle gradually while stirring. Blending into smoothies also works well.

Fibersentials SHAPE is formulated for adults. However, glucomannan is sometimes used in children under healthcare supervision. Consult your healthcare provider for personal guidance.

Fibersentials SHAPE is vegetarian-friendly, but not suitable for vegans. It contains galacto-oligosaccharides (GOS), which are derived from milk lactose. If you follow a strict vegan diet, this may not be the right fit for you.
For fiber-focused vegan support, check out Fibersentials FLOW, which is 100% vegan-friendly.
