Key Features

Deep Dermal Support

3000 mg fish collagen peptides (average 1500 Da), standardized to 15% tripeptides including 3% Gly-Pro-Hyp, the triple-helix backbone of skin collagen [1]. Combined with vitamin C, it supports natural collagen synthesis in the skin, promoting firmness and elasticity [2,3].

Skin Lipid Barrier Support

30 mg Ceramosides™ (wheat-derived phytoceramides) nourish the stratum corneum, the skin’s outermost layer, where ceramide levels decline with age [4,5]. This loss contributes to dryness and impaired barrier function. Ceramosides™ helps enhance firmness and elasticity [6,7]. Its benefit also extends to hair health [8], supported by added biotin.

Gut-Skin Axis Support

10 billion CFU of Bifidobacterium longum BB536 and Bifidobacterium breve M-16V helps modulate the gut-skin axis and maintain skin firmness [9,10]. Together with 5500 mg of prebiotic GOS, this formula supports microbial balance and has been shown to help reduce wrinkle appearance [11].

True glow begins beneath the surface. Skinbiotica COLLAGEN+ nourishes your skin from within—layer by layer—where beauty takes root.

Key Ingredients

collagen peptides

Most bioactive peptides range between two (dipeptides) and 20 amino acid residues and have a molecular mass of 0.4–2 kDa [12]. Our collagen averages 1.5 kDa and is standardized to 15% tripeptides, differing from other collagen peptides which rarely contain tripeptides. The low molecular weight of di- and tripeptides ensures intact absorption via PEPT1 transporters [13].

Ceramosides™

30 mg phytoceramides derived from wheat, including 12 mg digalactosyl diglycerides (DGDG), which help enhance intestinal absorption. Ceramides are essential for skin barrier and hydration, yet decline significantly with age and cannot be synthesized de novo, making dietary replenishment crucial [6].

probiotic blend

10 billion CFU of Bifidobacterium longum BB536 and B. breve M-16V, two human-residential strains to support gut health. Skin homeostasis is supported through the modulatory effect of gut microbiota on systemic immunity [14,15].

5500 mg of prebiotic fiber to nourish beneficial gut bacteria. GOS also helps to manage the formation of phenols [16,17], microbial metabolites associated with disrupted skin barrier and dryness [18]. The combination of GOS and Bifidobacteria has been shown to improve skin conditions [17,19,20].

How to use

Mix three scoops (10 g) into water, a smoothie, or yogurt. Consume immediately. Take at any time of day, but consistency is key for the best results. Skinbiotica COLLAGEN+ is neutral in taste and blends easily into your daily routine.

Acclimatization

To ensure a smooth transition, begin with one scoop daily for the first 1-2 weeks. If well-tolerated, increase to two scoops and eventually three. This slow introduction allows your gut to adjust to the increase in beneficial bacteria and prebiotics.

What makes Skinbiotica COLLAGEN+ different from other collagen supplements?

It goes far beyond collagen alone. COLLAGEN+ is a complete formula that supports your skin from within, layer by layer. It targets the dermis with clinically studied collagen tripeptides, the epidermis with Ceramosides™ phytoceramides, and the gut–skin axis with prebiotics and probiotics. Science-backed and nutrient-rich, it’s made to support skin firmness, hydration, and visible renewal.

It’s never too early—or too late—to support your skin from within. Collagen production naturally starts to decline around age 25, dropping by about 1–1.5% per year. By your 40s, the effects of this decline can become more visible, especially if your skin has been exposed to sun/UV radiation, smoking, alcohol, pollution, stress, poor sleep or imbalance in the gut.

That’s why we recommend starting a consistent regimen in your late 20s to mid-30s, as a proactive investment in your skin’s long-term health. But even if you’re past that point, COLLAGEN+ still supports visible improvement in hydration, elasticity, and barrier strength.

Some customers also reach for COLLAGEN+ seasonally, like in winter, when colder, drier air challenges skin resilience.

Skin renewal isn’t instant. The keratinocyte cell cycle, from the birth of a skin cell to its shedding, takes 40–56 days, and slows with age. That’s why we recommend giving it at least 2–3 full cycles (around 3 months) to experience meaningful changes. You’ll find a 3-month supply under our Bundle & Save.

COLLAGEN+ contains fish collagen and active nutrients, so it may have a slight marine and vitamin scent. However, it’s largely neutral in flavor and when mixed into yogurt, smoothies, or juice, it blends in almost unnoticeable.

No, and for good reason. The effects of sweeteners and flavourings on the gut microbiome are still being studied and many safety assessments don’t include microbiome impact. We keep our blends clean so you can mix them your way, naturally.

Absolutely. COLLAGEN+ pairs especially well with Gutbiotica PRIME or CORE for a complete gut–skin synergy.

No. It contains fish-derived collagen peptides and is therefore not suitable for vegans or vegetarians.

Ceramosides™ are derived from wheat but contain no detectable gluten. However, if you have celiac disease or a severe wheat allergy, please consult your healthcare provider before use.

As with any supplement, we recommend speaking with your doctor or midwife first to ensure it’s the right fit for you during this time.

It’s for everyone who cares about the health of their skin and gut. Skinbiotica COLLAGEN+ is designed for all genders and all skin types.
